Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our website.  My name is Suzanne Wilk. On April 30, 2008, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  This was very unexpected!!! After the initial shock, my husband, Joe, and I decided to research as much as possible about MS.  As part of our research, we discovered that keeping a daily journal of my symptoms was highly recommended to monitor my progress. As I attempted to write every day about how I was feeling, my husband noticed this was a difficult and tedious endeavor for me. Plus, he noticed it presented a couple of other problems.  First, it became increasingly difficult for me to write daily long hand entries in a journal, or even type the identical entries on a computer.  Second, trying to communicate several months’ worth of this information to my neurologist during a scheduled visit could be a problem due to the short amount of time he had available during my appointment.

Joe felt there had to be a better solution for me. As a computer professional with several years experience supporting medical transcription and electronic medical records software, my wonderful husband started working on creating a database application that would enable me to track my symptoms much more easily.

After over a year of development, he was able to design a program that allowed me to point and click to make most of my entries.  My actual typing was minimal...Hurrah! In the program, he included numerous report options that gave me the opportunity to take my information, put it into a usable format to give to my neurologist.  All the information was based on my paper journals.  He was able to include all the information about the symptoms I experienced, their severity, location and the activity associated with the symptom.

When my husband started developing this program, his goal was to help make this part of my life with MS be less of a struggle.  However, after much discussion, we believe other individuals, like you, with MS can benefit from this type of symptom tracking. 

That is what has led him to developing a version that we could offer to the public at a reasonable cost.  We are very excited about how this program can help others as it has helped me!
